Iridescent Galaxy bowl 

The warm amber-gold body of this handblown rondel bowl is treated with a metallic luster finish, applied while hot so it fuses into the glass rather than sitting on the surface — the result is a true iridescent effect that will never wear off. Depending on the light and viewing angle, pockets of violet, cyan, and hot pink surface within the gold like flashes of northern lights. Displayed on its side or filled as a centerpiece bowl, it commands a room either way. Entirely one-of-a-kind. Approximately 16” diameter.
