Vetro is a Glassblowing Studio and Fine Art Gallery located in the Historic District of Grapevine, Texas, where we have served the community for over 20 years. Our team is comprised of glassblowers as well as studio and gallery personnel who help with daily studio production, classes, events, and gallery organization. We are often searching for outgoing team players for full-time, part-time or seasonal help. Part-Time Studio Assistant for Public Events: (Primarily Needed on Fridays and Saturdays):
- Some basic experience in glassblowing preferred: be able to bring punties, gather single gathers of glass, and apply colors
- Be able to multitask with multiple different customers at one time
- Detail-oriented and be able to track customer sign-ups and color choices
- Very safety-conscious and able to follow company safety policies consistently
- Friendly, outgoing and a team player
- $14.00/hr + Tips
Part-Time Gallery Assistant Qualifications: (Primarily Needed on Fridays and Saturdays)
- Retail experience is preferred
- Welcome all customers to the gallery and the studio
- Handle customer service and gallery sales
- Assist with inventory, stocking, and storage
- Maintain the standards of the gallery
- Must be detail-oriented, personable, open to new experiences, calm and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- Must be a team player
- May include videography of artwork creation processes in the studio, photographing finished artwork, gallery displays, and editing and writing content for social media
